URBN Surf Sydney Day Trips 2025
With the Sydney wave pool having opened in May 2024, Sal will be running day trips down there as a private group. Our June and September 2024 day trips were a huge success. We now have one date booked in for April 2025 to cater to higher beginner surfers.
Dates:
Higher Beginner Day Trip - Friday 4th April - 10am - 7pm
Higher Beginner Day Trip: Cruiser 11am & Progressive Turns 1pm (all surfers must arrive at URBN Surf by 10am for check in at the main desk)
Ability level required:
Higher Beginner Day Trip (must be able to pop up and on unbroken waves and turn across the wave, paddle out independently, have good board management)
Suitable Boards: Longboards, Mid Lengths and Short Boards
Autumn Price: $395pp
ITINERARY: Friday 4th April 2025
10am - meet at URBN surf
10:15am - 10:45am orientation walk with Sal
11am - 12pm - Cruiser right
12pm - 12:45pm - lunch break & feedback from Sal
1pm - 2pm - Progressive Turns right
2:30pm - depart URBN SURF back to Umina
4pm - 7pm - Video Analysis at Sal's house of all videos, plus dinner and drinks included!
Included:

2 x 1 hour private sessions in the wave pool

Sal in the water coaching you and helping you onto your waves

One to one feedback and general group feedback in the water & in between sessions

2 x sessions filmed

Higher Beginner Day Trip - Video analysis with constructive feedback given back at Sal's house in Umina Beach from 4pm - 7pm

Higher Beginner Day Trip - Drinks and dinner included at Sal's during video analysis

All your videos of every wave, easily downloaded via a Flowstate log in, filmed by URBN Surf

Max 16 surfers in the water to ensure everyone gets at least 12-15 perfect waves a session

Foam surfboards if you do not have your own

Transport to and from URBN Surf Sydney and transport back to Sal's house. Carpooling can be arranged in the private WhatsApp group

Food & drinks at URBN Surf (can pack your own food, drinks and snacks)

Parking at URBN Surf, approximately $28 per car

Payments and T&C's:

You will be required to pay in full to secure your spot. You can pay online via Paypal OR contact Sal to book you in and then you can pay via Bank Transfer.

If you can no longer make the day trip due to sickness, injury, work, family commitments etc, you will lose the entire amount.

However, Sal will attempt to fill your spot. If it is filled 5 days or more before the day trip, then you will only be charged a $50 cancellation and name transfer fee. If you pull out within 5 days, your spot can not be filled as URBN surf does not allow name changes within 5 days. There are no guarantees your spot will be filled if you pull out. Sal has paid upfront to URBN surf to secure these private bookings which are difficult to book​
